This route will lead us to the Col de Turini, the most legendary pass in the Maritime Alps and the arrival of historic stages of the Tour de France and Paris-Nice, the last in 2019. Leaving the Clubhouse we will cycle towards Ventimiglia before crossing the French border and reaching La Turbie, a well-known town in Provence. Here the first ascent of the route, short but challenging at times. The game will be much harder once you arrive in Lantosque where short straight and continuous hairpin bends will lead to the climb of the western slope of the Col de Turini: 20 km at 5.5% average gradient and over 1100 meters of vertical ascent. Once down to Sospel we continue towards Ventimiglia and then return to Santo Stefano. | technical specificationsDistance: 215 kmTotal climbing: 3330 mtDifficulty: High Water fountains
